Quintiles is a 171,000-square-foot clinical trials material packaging and distribution centre in Bathgate.
Cleartech were awarded the full package of all hands on HVAC Commissioning activities and water treatment works by F.E.S. The main contractor was Bovis Lend Lease.
Our scope of works for FES involved the full chemical cleaning and water balancing works on heating and Chilled Water systems to BSRIA Application Guides, along with full water balancing of the systems to current CIBSE Codes. Our teams of CSA graded HVAC commissioning engineers completed the proportional balancing of all the ventilation systems and were backed up by our teams from the water hygiene division who carried out all the L8 Water Hygiene activities in the client driven scope of works and project specification.
Our senior commissioning engineers carried out a full commissionability study on the project 6 weeks prior to starting on site, this added enhanced value engineering to the project and enabled Cleartech to again deliver ahead of programme and maintaining our ethos of cost certainty.
